I found it in my SourceForge newletter:
Sysadmin of the Year, which includes a song competition. They have sample songs in their flash applet, I would recommend listening to those… perhaps even submitting an entry!

I tried to embed, but it broke the page somewhat. Anyways, MadTV’s come up with a good one! “Apple” presents: the iRack!
No hablo español. It translates to “I don’t speak Spanish.” The problem is that the phrase itself is in Spanish. Yay!
If you like vague music or simply enjoy confusing people, try these songs! They’re performed in the language Will Wright’s Sims speak – Simlish. Rather than being a true language, Simlish is simply improvised gibberish. There’s also this video of voice actors recording some Simlish, which can be viewed here.
I’ve become yet another link in their viral chain…
I was recently on the receiving end of a somewhat amusing misunderstanding. I’ll let Chris’ email speak for itself.
hi there Steve,
today’s the first time i’ve looked at your blogs, but i have to say i really like them… the Window’s 3am one was great! i recently found a “people magazine” from december that had a review about “The Who” that i think you did…(unless this is a diferent Steve=), but i just wanted to say that it was really great! i’m a musician, and you said it all just right… i’d love to hear what you think about my band… if you get a chance, please check us out @ www.myspace.com/goodbyeelliott . anyway, keep up the good work, and if this isn’t steve from people, you blogs rock as well=) thanks so much for your time, Chris
I found this uproariously hilarious, even a bit scary, to the point that I spent the next reading and re-reading this email, all while laughing nervously. It was somewhat unnerving to be suddenly contacted by someone I didn’t know just out of the blue… I don’t really care about pop music, much less to the extent of writing an article about it, let alone one for People Magazine! My reply:
Hello Chris,
I’m glad you enjoyed my blog. I’ll have to say I don’t write for any magazines. My writing is limited to school assignments and my website. It must have been a different Steve writing in People, I apologize for any confusion.
I looked at your site, and your music seems very well done. Congratulations on releasing a CD, and have a nice day!
-Steve Dougherty
I was wondering how Chris would’ve found my site in the first place. I Googled my own name, and it turned out I was the fourth result! I’m assuming this is how Chris found me.
PS: I’m using Lima beans instead of ice for my cold packs because they’re softer and drip less.
PPS: This post was heavily edited after initial publication, as to not be too critical of Chris.
Better version here on the official Canadian Film thing.
